I started this as a regular comment but then it went as a critique so what the hell, I'll give you a proper critique haha.

I see what you have in mind, the idea is very neat. This could be re-done many times just slightly differently and it could make a nice series without really repeating itself.

You've drawn the character in very nice style, the glowing parts look like they're glowing and I really like this pic, but I think that there could be some changes in the composition (I think it's too heavy on the left side), you could've shown the character's tail fully and the background could've been darker and less detailed to give the glowing more justice. Now the forest is a wee too light to make any contrast that could've made the character stand out more. That's why I gave you only 3,5 stars and that also lowered the impact of this pic.

Otherwise, even though I wrote lots of things I think could be done otherwise, I think this is a very good picture, love the glowing parts and especially the pinkish red stands out well because there's such a contrast with the dark green/blue background. As you explained on the description this is a fun pic and you have an artblock so I totally understand why you may have wanted to concentrate on the fun parts (glowing and fun colours) instead of fixing a background for ages.

Well done and it deserves a fave <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>
